Takken's Shoes

Takken's Shoes is a family shoe business based in San Luis Obispo, California. Takken's started as small shoe repair shop in 1937, and grew into a retail operation in the 70's. It rapidly embraced the emerging comfort shoe trend in the mid 1980's, and jumped on board getting into business with many of the pioneers in the comfort genre. The business continued to gain widespread popularity and success. Today Takken's goal is to become a dominant footwear retailer on the West Coast, while always remembering their small town roots.
