Walgreen’s is the nation's largest drugstore chain. Walgreen’s operates 4,229 drugstores in 44 states and Puerto Rico and plans to open 450 new stores in fiscal 2004. The company also operates Walgreen’s Health Initiatives, which provides mail service prescriptions, pharmacy benefits management and other clinical services.
